We are excited to tell you about the 1st DNA Sample: an Introduction to the Field of Genetic Counseling program . DNA Sample is being developed to allow interested individuals to learn more about the profession of genetic counseling. Sometimes potential students are not able to shadow a genetic counselor due to location or hospital regulations. The goal of this program is to expose interested individuals to the breadth of the field and allow them the opportunity to interact with members of the profession. DNA Sample will be one day (lasting from about 8:00 am – 3 pm) with a target date of Friday, June 15th 2012. More details will follow as the date gets closer.
