You can go into genetic counseling with an undergraduate degree in any field, although you'll have a competitive edge if you have a strong background in biology. You can also prepare yourself by working or volunteering in a counseling/helping environment and by shadowing and/or interning with a genetic counselor.

Recommenders are not contacted through the University of Cincinnati online application system until your application is complete and all fees are paid.
