Cardiovascular Genetics

Studying for boards? Thinking about a career in health care? Seeing patients with cardiovascular conditions? The University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Genetic Counseling Program offers an Online Cardiovascular Genetics Course to meet these needs. Begin and proceed at a pace that is compatible with your schedule. Enrollment is continuous. This course covers genetic testing and genetic counseling issues, as well as clinical information about the syndromic, metabolic, and acquired causes of congenital heart defects, coronary heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and cardiomyopathies.
Course is currently approved for up to 1.0 Category 1 CEU.
Each lecture is presented using a combined audio/video format using streaming video and detailed PowerPoint slides.
